Challenger 300 vs. Challenger 605: Not Interchangeable

The Challenger 300 and Challenger 605 come from different points in Bombardier’s Challenger lineage — the 605 descends from the original Challenger 600/604 series, while the 300 is a separate, purpose-built midsize design. The Challenger 600 series shares a common ancestry across the 601, 604, and 605, but avionics, systems, and limitations still diverge enough between variants that the FCOM for one will not accurately reflect the other. Always confirm your exact model and, where possible, cross-check it against the aircraft’s FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet before purchasing documentation.
